The attraction is there in chapter 2 and continues throughout the book. Van Dyken gets rights to the point in this one. Please keep in mind it is all very simply done, but I still found it sweet and entertaining. We have a villian, a small mystery (although very easily solved), an exciting chase, and a "prince charming" saving the day. Story: The plot was more meaty this time around. They are there enough for me to be happy to see them, but in the background enough that I can enjoy my new couple.
